A Cuvée made from the grapes grown on calcareous soils of the Sancerre appellation, these Oxfordian soils ( 145-150M) are from the the " Upper Oxfordian".
The soils are made of numerous calcareous stones both on the surface and on the deeper layers of soils. The name " Caillottes" means " Little Stones" as the calcareous stone cover the soil.
The " Caillottes" are extremely pleasing as from their younger age.
