Joost de Villebois, Gérant, owner

He wanted to make  his own wine since he was 18. While working in Bordeaux later on, he further professionalized himself in winemaking. His work carried him all over the world so it wasn’t until 2004 when he could turn his dream into reality by settling in the Loire Valley and acquire this vineyard with  his wife and three friends who all share his passion for making the finest Sauvignon Blancs.

 

Thierry Merlet

Thierry enjoyed his education in Burgundy and Bordeaux after which he went to Australia and the United States to put his knowledge into practice. When he came back to the Loire Valley, he introduced some of the latest winemaking techniques and equipment. He currently puts his talent at the service of Villebois by overlooking and organizing all aspects of the production and sales in direct relation with Joost de Villebois.
